As part of the celebration of Arab Bicycle Day<\/strong>, observed annually on October 30<\/strong>, the Sharjah Sports Council<\/strong> organized a successful edition of the Khorfakkan Cycling Challenge<\/strong>, which witnessed remarkable enthusiasm and wide participation with 200 male and female cyclists<\/strong> taking part. The event was held in collaboration with a number of supporting and sponsoring entities and institutions.<\/p>\n

The 27-kilometer race<\/strong> saw strong competition across all categories.
In the Emirati Men\u2019s category<\/strong>, the winners were:
\ud83e\udd47 1st place<\/em>: Yousif Amiri<\/strong>
\ud83e\udd48 2nd place<\/em>: Rashid Al Baloushi<\/strong>
\ud83e\udd49 3rd place<\/em>: Hilal Al Harbi<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Emirati Women\u2019s category<\/strong>:
\ud83e\udd47 1st place<\/em>: Marwa Al Qahwar<\/strong>
\ud83e\udd48 2nd place<\/em>: Hala Mohamed<\/strong>
\ud83e\udd49 3rd place<\/em>: Noura Al Ghafli<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Open Men\u2019s category<\/strong>:
\ud83e\udd47 1st place<\/em>: Kirill Mailer<\/strong>
\ud83e\udd48 2nd place<\/em>: Ibrahim Al Refai<\/strong>
\ud83e\udd49 3rd place<\/em>: Salman Al Mansoori<\/strong><\/p>\n

And in the Open Women\u2019s category<\/strong>:
\ud83e\udd47 1st place<\/em>: Madi Balak<\/strong>
\ud83e\udd48 2nd place<\/em>: Isabella Darby<\/strong>
\ud83e\udd49 3rd place<\/em>: Masha Biekovskaya<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event was attended by and featured the awarding of winners by H.E. Dr. Yasser Omar Al Doukhi<\/strong>, President of the Arab Cycling Federation; H.E. Mansour Bou Assiba<\/strong>, President of the UAE Cycling Federation and Member of the Board of Directors of the Arab Cycling Federation; and H.E. Dr. Ashraf Emam<\/strong>, Secretary-General of the Arab Cycling Federation and President of the Sudanese Cycling Federation.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, H.E. Dr. Yasser Omar Al Doukhi<\/strong> affirmed that the Arab Cycling Federation<\/strong> highly values the significant role played by the United Arab Emirates<\/strong>, particularly the Emirate of Sharjah<\/strong>, in supporting and developing the sport of cycling. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Sharjah Sports Council<\/strong> for its outstanding efforts and the successful organization of the Khorfakkan Cycling Challenge<\/strong>, which reflects the emirate\u2019s commitment to promoting and spreading the culture of cycling across the community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
