The General Secretariat of the Arab Cycling Federation held a meeting at the Federation’s headquarters in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. It was attended by H.E. Dr. Yasser Omar Al-Dokhi, President of the Arab Cycling Federation; Dr. Ashraf Mohamed Sayed Imam, Secretary General; Mr. Khalifa Ali Al-Mazrouei, Administrative and Financial Director; and Mr. Mohammed Fadi Hilal Kallash, Executive Secretary. The Secretariat discussed a number of administrative, technical and financial files, reviewed work updates and preparations for upcoming events and meetings, and presented the President with the main topics and reports on the progress of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting addressed the General Secretariat’s report on the Arab Cycling Championship hosted by the Syrian Arab Republic in 2026, including its key organizational and technical aspects. It also reviewed preparations for the Federation’s Board of Directors meeting No. (02) and the ongoing arrangements for the ordinary General Assembly meeting No. (42).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Secretariat also reviewed updates on the fit-out of the Federation’s headquarters, and the 2026 programme of courses and seminars organized by the Arab Cycling Center, which aims to develop technical and administrative cadres and strengthen training and qualification opportunities in Arab countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting discussed cooperation and partnership with the American University in the Emirates, the proposed educational and training programmes, and the academic and qualification opportunities that could be offered to cycling personnel, contributing to raising their academic and professional level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Secretariat further reviewed the financial position of member federations and the Federation’s overall financial position, along with a number of administrative and financial requirements related to the course of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this context, the President of the Arab Cycling Federation expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Sports Council for its continuous support and for providing the Federation’s new headquarters in the Emirate of Sharjah, valuing the Council’s efforts and its commitment to supporting sports federations and providing a suitable environment for their work, programmes and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The General Secretariat stressed the importance of continued coordination and follow-up on the various files, and of preparing the requirements needed to implement the Federation’s programmes and upcoming events, contributing to strengthening institutional work and developing Arab cycling.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
