In the presence of the President of the Arab Cycling Federation, the “Mleiha National Cycling Challenge” kicks off in Sharjah

  • September 24, 2025

The “Mleiha National Cycling Challenge,” organized by the Sharjah Sports Council in cooperation with the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and several entities, was launched with the participation of more than 200 cyclists in the mountain, desert, and fat bike categories, including 84 competitors from 7 Arab countries.

The event was attended by His Excellency Dr. Yasser Omar Al-Doukhi, President of the Arab Cycling Federation, His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Imam, Secretary-General of the Arab Cycling Federation and President of the Sudanese Federation, and His Excellency Mansour Bu Osaibah, President of the UAE Cycling Federation and member of the Board of Directors of the Arab Cycling Federation, along with a number of sports figures from the United Arab Emirates.

The Arab Cycling Federation delegation witnessed the competitions and participated in the awarding ceremony for the winners, as part of its support for the presence of Arab sporting events and encouragement of the spread of cycling
