H.E. Major General Ahmed Nasser, Acting President of the Union of Arab Sports Federations, received H.E. Dr. Yasser Omar Al Doukhi, President of the Arab Cycling Federation, in Cairo, Egypt, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination among Arab sports organizations and support the advancement of joint Arab sports initiatives.
During the meeting, H.E. Dr. Yasser Omar Al Doukhi reviewed the most significant developments within the Arab Cycling Federation during the recent period, highlighting its achievements at various levels, as well as the Federation’s strategy and future plans aimed at developing the sport of cycling throughout the Arab world.
The discussion also covered the role of the Federation’s committees, their programs and activities, and the efforts they undertake to enhance institutional, technical, and administrative performance in support of the Federation’s objectives and future aspirations.
Dr. Al Doukhi further presented the calendar of upcoming Arab cycling championships scheduled to take place in several Arab countries, as well as the ongoing efforts to ensure the successful organization of these events and to encourage broad Arab participation.
For his part, H.E. Major General Ahmed Nasser reaffirmed his full support for the Arab Cycling Federation elected by its General Assembly, expressing confidence in the elected Board of Directors and its various programs and activities. He praised the efforts of the Federation’s Board, General Secretariat, and committees in advancing and developing cycling across the Arab world.
At the conclusion of the meeting, H.E. Dr. Yasser Omar Al Doukhi expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to H.E. Major General Ahmed Nasser for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, while commending his continued support and interest in the Arab Cycling Federation and its future programs.
