Disciplinary, Values and Ethics Committee Holds Its First Meeting and Discusses Its Strategic Work Plan

The Disciplinary, Values and Ethics Committee of the Arab Cycling Federation held its first meeting remotely under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdulaziz Al Shahrani, with the participation of committee members, marking the commencement of the committee’s activities and responsibilities in line with the Federation’s vision and objectives.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman welcomed the members and emphasized the importance of working as one team and making every effort to carry out the committee’s responsibilities in accordance with a clear vision and strategy that supports the goals and directions of the Arab Cycling Federation while strengthening the principles of discipline, values, and ethics within the sport.

During the meeting, Mr. Tawfiq Kazem Hilal was appointed Vice Chairman of the Committee, while Mr. Ahmed Al Harthi was appointed Committee Secretary, in a move aimed at enhancing the organization of the committee’s work and improving its effectiveness during the coming period.

The members also discussed a number of agenda items, most notably the preparation of the committee’s work plan and the development of general policies related to its areas of responsibility. In addition, several initiatives were reviewed, and views and proposals were exchanged to support the committee’s activities and contribute to achieving its objectives.

The committee reaffirmed its commitment to promoting a culture of discipline, integrity, ethical conduct, and sportsmanship within Arab cycling, while supporting the Federation’s efforts to establish best practices and strengthen governance across all its activities and programs.
