President of the Arab Cycling Federation Meets Dr. Tareq Al-Khayyat to Discuss Strategic Plan Implementation and Jordan’s Participation in Arab Championships

H.E. Dr. Yasser Omar Al-Dokhi, President of the Arab Cycling Federation, accompanied by Dr. Ashraf Mohamed Sayed Imam, Secretary General of the Federation, held a meeting with Dr. Tareq Al-Khayyat, President of the Jordan Cycling Federation, Chairman of the Strategy and Follow-up Committee of the Arab Cycling Federation, and Board Member of the Arab Cycling Federation.

The meeting focused on reviewing the implementation of the Arab Cycling Federation’s Strategic Plan and discussing the latest developments related to the work of the Strategy and Follow-up Committee and its role in supporting the Federation’s objectives and strategic direction during the coming period.

The participants also reviewed the outcomes of the President’s previous visit to Amman, Jordan, and followed up on the initiatives and matters that had been agreed upon during that visit, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and contributing to the development of cycling across the Arab world.

The meeting further addressed Jordan’s participation in the Arab Road Cycling, Mountain Bike, and Para-Cycling Championships, scheduled to be held in the Syrian Arab Republic in October 2026. Emphasis was placed on the importance of broad Arab participation in the championships to ensure their success and achieve their sporting and developmental objectives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Yasser Al-Dokhi reaffirmed his commitment to continuing coordination and joint cooperation in support of the development of Arab cycling and the enhancement of its presence and achievements at various levels.
